Here’s another amazing 1/72 release by Dragon! It’s the Sd.Kfz. 251/2 Ausf. D version of the German half track with Wurfrahmen 40, also known as “Stuka zu Fuss,” which means “Stuka on foot.” It earned that nickname from the Stuka-like howls of the 32cm incendiary projectiles that were launched from the special rack attached to the superstructure. Six projectiles could be carried at a time. Dragon’s little gem of a kit is molded in gray plastic and comes with two nice frets of photo-etched parts. The road wheels of the tracked sections are incredibly molded as only two pieces per side, but fear not, as no detail is lost whatsoever. The tracks themselves are made of flexible “Dragon Styrene,” and markings are included for three vehicles. Also includes two frets of photo-etched detail parts. A great addition to your 1/72 Wehrmacht collection!
