Almost 11 years after the first edition of Scale Model Challenge in 2007, the show has grown into one of the major events in the scale modeling and figure painting hobby.

Although the intention has always been to become “significant”, it surely was never meant to grow to the size it is today. Over 6,500 square meters with a major contest, a large international club attendance, an unsurpassed number, and above all, variety of global vendors and an ever-growing crowd of visitors from all over the world.

In this publication, we showcase all gold medal-winning entries of the 2017 contest as well as a random selection from all other entries.

We hope that this showcase inspires and motivates you in your own endeavors in this great hobby and we hope to welcome you at SMC 2018 as a visitor or as a contest participant.
