The Swede Mattias Ekstrm decided to retire from the DTM in 2018. This year he sat behind the wheel of the Audi RS 5 DTM for the last time and drove his final race at the Hockenheimring. Anyone who knows the successes of Ekstrm were on a knifes edge during this race. Looking at the racing professional’s career, he ended with a total of two titles, 23 victories and 20 pole positions.
