This Airfix Vintage Classic kit includes classic tooling from 1961, with cover illustration by G. Schule from 1961.
Deployed initially to counter the Russian T-34, the Panther was sent to frontline units in the spring of 1943, and first entered major combat at Kursk. With the correction of the production-related mechanical difficulties, the Panther became extremely popular among German tankers and was a fearsome battlefield weapon.
Completed model measures 101mm long and 43mm wide.
