This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.
The German Army, which used battle strategies centered on mobility during World War II, used command tanks equipped with communication equipment in each unit to develop operations efficiently. Many were equipped with various antennas for the powerful communication equipment installed inside. When the Panther G was used as a command tank, a dummy barrel was added to the back when communication equipment was installed in the battle room; while many vehicles only had machine guns, the Panther G remained equipped with the cmKwK420L/70 gun. The ammunition storage space was reduced and a FuG5 communicator was installed in the turret; an FuG7 or FuG8 communicator was also installed inside the tank. From May 1943 to February 1945, nearly 350 Panther command tanks were produced, based not only on the G type, but also on the A and D types.
Dragon’s latest model kit features the distinctive star-shaped antenna on the rear of the hull, delicately expressed with 3D-printed parts. The shape of the main gun shield, which replaced the coaxial machine gun, is also 3D printed. The rest of the tank is realistically reproduced too, with small details such as the engine deck louvers and engine room given extra attention. The undercarriage also reproduces the road wheels, idler wheels, and sprocket wheels; the track is a belt type that’s easy to assemble. Place your order today!
