This is a plastic military vehicle model.
The M103 is a heavy tank deployed in the U.S. Army and Marine Corps since 1957, during the Cold War era after World War II. In order to counter the IS-3 Stalin and T-10 tanks equipped with Soviet 122mm guns, the United States advanced the development of heavy tanks equipped with 120mm guns. The M103, which shares many parts with the M48 Patton tank, is equipped with a 60-caliber 120mm tank gun. It also has a large turret, since it requires two loaders due to the separation of the type shell and charge. From 1962, a type that replaced the engine with a V-type 12-cylinder air-cooled diesel turbo engine appeared; it had greatly improved driving performance, including improving the maximum speed and cruising distance.
This is a completely assembled and painted 1/72-scale model of the A2 type of the M103 American heavy tank! Its powerful style, equipped with a large cast turret carrying a 60-caliber 120mm gun, is modeled with plenty of weight and substance. In addition to the large searchlight attached to the base of the gun barrel and the luggage rack at the rear of the turret, the engine deck at the rear of the hull, fenders, traveling locks and more are reproduced with delicate details. The lower part of the hull reproduces its unique shape, along with the tracks and road wheels. Suspension arms feature the dampers for a three-dimensional finish. This tank features the turret number D24, with light weathering over the basic paint. A display case is included. Order yours now!
