The GAZ-AAA was launched at the end of 1934 as a truck of high manoeuvrability with a carrying capacity of 2 tonnes. 37373 machines were manufactured in total, and this vehicle saw service in Mongolia, Finland and also during World War II between 1939 and 1945. Various vehicles such as the armored vehicles BA-6 and BA-10 were developed from the base of a GAZ-AAA.
