Sure, it took five Shermans to tackle a Tiger, but when it was all said and done, it was the Sherman that emerged victorious, proving in the end that tactics, numbers, and reliability beat technical superiority every time! Heller has re-released the good ol’ Airfix kit, which depicts an early M4 with early mantlet, three-piece transmission cover, and rounded driver’s hoods. The belt-type tracks represent the rubber-block T-41 type, although the box art suggests the steal cleat T-49 type. Pressed steel-type road wheels and a nice sheet of decals round out the details.
