Released by Triumph Models in China 1/72 scale 3D printed kit

The Type 5 Gun Tank Hori I is a prototype tank of the Japanese Army during World War II and was designed based on the Type 5 medium tank Chili.

It is equipped with 105mm caliber 10cm gun and has 6 crews. The layout of the tank is that the fighting compartment is located at the rear of the tank and the engine is located at the center of the tank and the driver’s seat is in front of the engine.

Although photos of the wooden model of the Hori I remain, the prototype was never completed.

The front armor was supposed to be 125 mm, and the sides were supposed to be 25 mm.

This tank destroyer was intended to be used against enemy heavy tanks that might appear in the future.
