Description

This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.

The AS-1 is a vehicle based on the GAZ-AA 1.5-ton 4×2 truck.

The GAZ-AA was a Soviet Union-produced truck based on a design from an American automobile manufacturer. Due to material availability and Soviet-specific modifications, various specification changes were introduced during its production.
The GAZ-AA had many derivatives, with nearly 100,000 units produced and used during World War II. One of these derivatives, the AS-1, was an essential vehicle for Soviet military airfields from the 1930s through World War II. It is said that aircraft such as the I-153, I-16, Yak-1, and Il-2 could not be deployed without the AS-1.

This product features new mold parts to create a detailed representation of the AS-1.
