1/48 German Heavy Tank Tiger I Early Production Type

This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.

The fourth tank in Aoshima’s Remote Control Plastic Model series is the Tiger I early production version in 1/48 scale!

The Tiger I is a German heavy tank used in WWII, which is equipped with an 88mm gun and 100mm armor. The early version, which this kit builds, was deployed beginning in 1942 and featured taller cupola than the later models, and was equipped with a smoke discharger on the turret and air cleaners on the rear deck.

The completed model is powered by two FA-130 motors and will need batteries (not included) to operate. It uses a 2CH remote control system; with a 2CH remote (sold separately), the model can move forward and backward, rotate left and right, and pivot. The remote box is easy to assemble, and the gear box comes preassembled. You’ll need a Phillips head screwdriver (+) to complete assembly of this model.
