The first in a collection of 11th Armored Division decals for the WWII British Army’s A34 Comet cruiser tanks is a collection of markings for the 23rd Light Cavalry Regiment.
The 23rd Light Cavalry Regiment was the first regiment of the 11th Armored Division, which is why the marking symbols are all red.
The Buffalo division markings are available in left and right orientation, the vehicle’s unique name British War Department number (WDN) is a choice of the last four digits beginning with “T-33,” and the font style and size are also exclusive to the Comet.
The star-shaped aeronautical identification markings on the top of the turret have a thicker circumference than those on the Tamiya kit.
