The driver at the wheel wears a winter cap and goggles and a quilted jacket called a tirograka on his upper body.
The soldier in the passenger seat is a senior officer wearing a uniform cap and a leather overcoat.
Developed and produced by the American Dodge Corporation, a total of about 260,000 WC trucks with payload capacities of 1/2-3/4 tons were produced in the series and were used by the US Army from mid-WWII through the Korean War, and about 60,000 were also operated by the Soviet Army through Lend-Lease.
