The Panzer IV was a tank that was highly trusted by German soldiers in World War II. Initially, it was planned as an infantry support tank, but it was used as a main battle tank throughout the war due to its large body size; it was able to respond to modifications according to the battle situation. Many types of Panzer IV were made due to its long production period. Among them, the F type is the last type of the original infantry support tank. Since the type equipped with a long-barreled 75mm gun appeared in the middle of production, the short-barrel-mounted type is called the F type. From April 1941 to March 1942, more than 450 of this tank were produced by strengthening the basic thickness of the body armor; it was active in the German-Soviet war.

This model kit from Dragon reproduces the type of Panzer IV equipped with a short-barreled 75mm gun. The lower part of the hull is slide-molded for accuracy; the hatch and bolts on the underside of the hull are expressed in great detail. The final drive housing, idler wheels, road wheels, leaf spring suspension, and other undercarriage parts achieve a three-dimensional effect, and realistic assembly-type Magic Tracks are included.
