This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.
The Panzer III was deployed in 1937, and was active as one of Germany’s main battle tanks throughout World War II while continuing to improve. Among the many types that appeared, the N type is equipped with a short-barreled 7.5cm gun based on the J, L and M types. From June 1942 to August 1943, 663 of this tank were produced; 37 other tanks were remodeled to the N-type based on tanks returned for repairs until 1944. Ultimately, the production number reached a total of 700. The Panzer IV was equipped with a long-barreled KwK40 gun, resulting in surplus quantities of the 7.5cm K2K37L/24 gun; this was installed on the III J-type, L-type and M-type. The N-type, which became the final production type of the Panzer III that was made this way, demonstrated its power in anti-tank battles, centering on fire support. It was also deployed in heavy tank battalions to compensate for the shortage of Tiger tanks, and continued to be active on each front until the end of the war, including the Battle of Kursk, which is said to be the largest tank battle in history on the Eastern Front.
This model kit from Dragon brings us the Panzer III N type as seen in the Battle of Kursk in 1943. In addition to the road wheels, idler wheels, suspension, etc., the crawler belt uses an assembly type Magic Track for a realistic finish. The lower part of the hull is an integrally slide-molded part; the details on the underside and sides of the chassis are also expressed in high detail. The upper part of the hull is the engine deck, and the left and right fenders are separate parts. The ending deck hatch can be built opened or closed. The extra armor plate attached to the front of the fighting compartment is also accurately modeled as a separate part. The turret’s shape is carefully reproduced with a three-way slide mold; the side hatch can be built opened or closed. The turret, additional armor on the side of the hull, and Schulzen are also included. Order yours today!
