Lt. Werner Foss was the fifth-ranked German ace pilot in World War I with a record of 48 aircraft shot down.

Werner was shot down in September 1917 and died at the young age of 20.

His parents gave him a Vandalar motorcycle for his 17th birthday, and he loved it.
