The vehicle’s primary use was to deploy troops and equipment rapidly on or off-road. The Tiger-M model was an upgraded variant designed in 2010. Its new features included a diesel engine, armored hood, large rear hatch, and the new Arbalet-DM remote controlled weapons station with machine gun.
