Description

This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.

Having witnessed the importance of armored vehicles in the first World War, Japanese military planners saw the need for armored vehicles in the army. The French Renault FT-17 was one of the first tanks to feature a rotating turret, something that would become a common feature on all tanks in the following decades. Japan imported the FT-17 and used them for testing and in service up until the mid 1930’s when indigenous Japanese tank designs came into service.

Meng brings us this Japanese Limited Edition of their detailed FT-17 kit with cast turret. All parts come molded in tan colored plastic with black individual link tracks. Resin and photo-etched metal detail parts as well as decals to build one of four Japanese marking options are also included.
