This is an injection-plastic figure set for use with military dioramas or individual display.
The battle of Moscow was the decisive turning point in WW.II. It was the first time the German Army, marching in triumph, was halted and repelled. The desperate struggles of the Russians and the heavy casualties are well-known. But the weather, the autumn rain, and then the sudden arrival of the winter snow fall and subsequent heavy mud completely stopped the formerly invincible Bliztzkrieg tactics. This is a set of four German infantry figures fighting before the gate of Moscow in late 1941. All of them are in thin greatcoats, not suitable for the severe Russian winter. The skirts of their coat are molded in several parts with fine rumples molded extremely well, to fit the action of the figure. Very nice set for dioramas of the Eastern Front.
