Description

This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.

The Scimitar is a fast reconnaissance tank and a member of the Scorpion light tank family. It has one 30mm gun and improved vision devices, allowing it to act as the “eyes” of the armored unit. The kit is very detailed and represents beautifully the complicated construction of the turret and hull, with many parts. Unfortunately lots of filling and sanding work will be required. A photo-etched set for the exhaust guard and telephone wire reel holder is included. The 30mm cannon barrel is made of lathed aluminum and features an opened muzzle. Tracks are the cementable rubber band type. Five sets of decals for British and Belgian Army are included. This is a nice model for moderately skilled modelers.
