Description

The 16-ton Strabo Crane is a gate-type mobile crane used by German field maintenance units for maintenance and repairs. In addition to being used for working on medium to heavy tanks, it was also used to prepare for the launch of the V2 rocket. It can be transported by half-track, and it was possible to assemble it in about an hour with a crew of 10 people. About 100 units were manufactured during the war, and were used by German armored divisions and heavy tank battalions.
