The 10.5cm assault howitzer 42 (StuH 42) is a vehicle in which the main gun of the No. III assault gun was replaced with a 10.5cm howitzer for anti-torchka attacks. The early models were equipped with a muzzle brake, but it has not been fitted since the production model at the end of 1944.
