On 6th June 1944 the Allies landed in Normandy under Operation Overlord. This included British infantry regiments. They forced the defenders out of landing zones Juno, Sword and Gold and in the following days and weeks broke the resistance of the Germans at Quistreham, Arromanches and Caen.
This set includes 54 unpainted figures!
