This model kit from Takom was announced at the 61st Shizuoka Hobby Show! The M1943 field uniform was made to replace the M1941, which had many shortcomings such as poor protection against cold, at the request of the Army Supply Department, which sought to unify the uniforms of infantry, tank soldiers, paratroopers and mountain troops. Around the end of 1944, supply was started from units on the Italian front, but due to ongoing supply problems, it was not possible to spread to all units by the end of the war.
