The WWII German King Tiger needs no introduction, and after two years in the making, neither does this kit! Yes, it’s Trumpeter’s massive King Tiger in 1/16 scale, with absolutely full interior detail. Trumpeter had been showing test shots with the so-called “Porsche turret” for the last couple of years, but this limited-edition release (only 2,400 kits worldwide!) features the so-called “Henschel turret.” Either way, it’s very cool, very detailed, and very big! It ain’t exactly cheap, either, but you definitely get one huge box stuffed with styrene for your money! Aside from the tons of highly detailed plastic parts, the kit also features three frets of photo-etched metal parts, an aluminum main gun barrel, cast metal drive sprockets and idler wheels, and markings for seven different vehicles (plus loads of stenciling!).
