1/144 28cm K5(E) Leopold w/Crew & Rail

This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.

Dragon has been releasing “Micro Armor” in 1/144 scale, to the apparent delight of armor fans — the scale is becoming quite popular! This time, they have chosen the German Gigantic Railway Gun. The kit consists of the 28cm K5(E) “Leopold” and a section of straight raillroad track. The kit is made of ABS (injection plastic) and PVC, so CA cement will be required to build it. The molds are very fine and the parts number is kept as low as possible to represent this 220mm long(even in this scale!) model. The gun barrel is represented in lathed aluminum with an opened muzzle. A tiny brass photo-etched set for the exhaust covers and platforms is included. Gun name and registration numbers are provided in white and black, some in incredibly tiny characters — but still legible — on a set of water slide decals printed by the world-famous Cartograf. Twelve figures plus ammunition are included!
