1/72 Saxon Cuirassiers

This is an injection-plastic figure set for use with military dioramas or individual display.

With Saxony forced to ally itself with France in the early 19th century, two of its three Cuirassier regiments, widely regarded as the best in Europe, joined Napoleon’s Grand Armee when it invaded Russia in 1812. Zvezda offers a finely molded set of these Cuirassiers in 1/72 scale, perfect for your Battle of Bordino dioramas. The set includes one piece each of a Trumpeter, a Standard Bearer, an Officer, and an NCO, with 12 Cuirassiers in 4 different poses, for a total of 16 figures. Horses are supplied in 4 different poses. The level of sculpting and molding is excellent, the historical accuracy is very good, and the poses are quite natural. The only things left to do are put on the Tchaikovsky and start the retreat!
