This is a resin-cast field gun model kit.
The Murata rifle was developed by Tsuneyoshi Murata with reference to the French Grasse, gun, and was adopted by the Japanese Army in 1880 as the first domestic metal cartridge case rifle. Japan had only been producing matchlock guns on a cottage-industry basis until that time; the Murata rifle combined a metal cartridge case with bolt action, taking a huge step toward modernizing military guns. This unassembled, unpainted model kit from Tori Factory allows you to build a pair of this classic weapon in 1/12 scale! A special sling is included as well. Order yours now!
