This is an injection-plastic field gun model kit.
In the late 1930’s, weapons technology improved to increase the power of anti-tank guns. sPzB41 2.8cm ATG was one such weapon, produced with a Gerlich tapered-bore barrel. It became quickly obsolete before the rapid increase of armor on tanks. Dragon has produced a model of this gun on the light field carriage 41, especially designed for airborne troops. The number of parts are few but successfully reproduce this tiny anti-tank gun in excellent fashion. The characteristic spaced-armor gun shields are made with two parts jointing together. Two gunner figures are in finely-molded quilting winter clothes (the typical uniform of the mid-war German airborne troops, who abandoned the parachuting role and fought as infantry on the cold, muddy ground of Russia).
