The Rikuo is the world’s first motorcycle with a two-wheel-drive sidecar with the ability to control the side wheels, allowing improved performance on rough terrain. It was adopted in 1964 and used for reconnaissance and other missions until the end of the war. It was also used in the Navy Army Corps for reconnaissance.
