This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.

The s.I.G.33 III self-propelled gun is an assault infantry gun equipped with a 15cm heavy infantry gun on the body. The vehicle body uses E-type and F/8-type assault guns, and a large fixed battle compartment is installed on the top. It was equipped with a 15cm s.I.G.33 heavy infantry gun. Development began in 1927, and formalization began in 1933. Production was carried out mainly by Rheinmetall, and about 4,600 of this vehicle were produced by the end of the war. It was possible to use high-explosive bullets, smoke bombs, and blast bombs. It participated in the Battle of Stalingrad and fought until the end of the war.

This model kit from Dragon uses a slide mold to accurately model the shape of the battle room built on top of the III assault gun; the upper and rear hatches can be assembled open or closed. The battle compartment has an impactful finish with its rugged square design, and the 15cm main gun has been recreated down to the gun carriage that fits inside the battle compartment; an aluminum gun barrel is included. The gun barrel can be moved up and down after completion. The engine deck at the rear of the hull is also slide-molded, complete with its large tool box.
