This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.
During World War II, the tank that gained high trust among German soldiers was the Pz.Kpfw.161, Panzer IV. Production began in 1936, and approximately 8,500 vehicles were produced, with numerous improvements and enhancements being made to suit the situation without changing the basic dimensions. It was operated throughout the entire war. Among them, the J type was the final production type. Modifications were made to simplify equipment and ease production. It was produced from June 1944 to March 1945, and continued to fight on all fronts until the end of the war. The Panzer IV also had a spacious body design, and many variation types were created. The observation vehicle that was deployed to the self-propelled artillery units and conducted bullet impact observation was also modified by changing the cupola and installing a radio. It was produced and operated starting in July 1944.
This model kit from Dragon reproduces the J type, the final production type of the Panzer IV, which was called Germany’s war horse. This kit allows you to select and assemble either an observation tank or a mid-term production model. The differences in the cupola and antenna are clearly reproduced. The kit’s extensive part structure is also an attractive feature; upgraded parts have been prepared for the wheels that reproduce the numbers and names on the rubber parts, and the Magic Tracks lend realism with ease of assembly. Metal parts are available for the Schulzen on the sides of the vehicle. The gun barrel is a machined aluminum part, and the muzzle brake at the tip is reproduced with a 3D-printed part. Photo-etched parts are also included. Place your order today!
