TheScammell Pioneer tractor truck (or Lorry in UK English) was originally designed to operate in Britain’s many far off colonies where developed roads were sparse. Although not a four wheel drive vehicle, the Pioneers soft suspension and excellent ground handling enabled it to operate from many kinds of surfaces. The SV2S version was a off-road recovery vehicle equipped with a crane and other tools to help recover vehicles in need.
