This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.

In World War II, the Japanese Navy, with the cooperation of the Army, developed and equipped the amphibious tank Special Type 2 internal fire boat (Kami). The base was the Army’s Type 95 light tank, which had a fully welded structure, and the hatch was equipped with a rubber seal. The turret uses the Type 2 tank’s turret, and it was equipped with a set of 37mm tank guns. It was equipped with detachable floats to obtain buoyancy on the front and rear of the hull. There were two types of floats — the early model and the late model — and the latter was categorized by the left and right split type, unlike the early version, which was integrated. Carried to the coast by submarine to the southern islands where harbor facilities are insufficient, they then sailed on their own to land. After landing, the floats were removed and the tanks continued to advance like normal tanks. After being formalized in 1942, about 180 of this unit were produced by the end of the war, including both early and late models. It was put into combat for the first time in Saipan, and was active in southern areas such as New Guinea; it was also used in the fierce battle of Iwo Jima.
