This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.
The RU251 is a reconnaissance tank developed by Hanomag as a successor to the M41 Walker Bulldog that was deployed to the German Bundeswehr. Based on the Kanonenjagdpanzer, it was designed with an emphasis on firepower and maneuverability, was equipped with a Rheinmetall BK 90/L40 90mm tank gun, and was capable of running at speeds of over 80km/h. A prototype vehicle was completed in 1963, but it was not mass-produced as the production system for the Leopard, which was equipped with a more powerful 105mm gun, was in place.
