This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.
The Pz.IIJ fell into the “light tank” category, but its heavy tank-like 80mm thick frontal armor could not be penetrated by any anti-tank gun in use at that time. It was a rival of the British Matilda tank. Alan, of St. Petersburg, Russia, produced this interesting tank. While Alan kits are “short run,” they definitely qualify as being at the top end of “short run” kits, or even the lower end of “mainstream” producers’ kits. While not of “Big T” quality perhaps, with a little care a very attractive miniature can be made from this kit. Tracks are individual-link construction, a big advance over the “rubber band” treads seen in some “major” producers’ kits. No figure is included. One record player and a record decal are provided as an accessory for a diorama.
