Description

This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.

The M109 self-propelled howitzer is a second-generation postwar self-propelled artillery vehicle developed by the United States in parallel with the M108 self-propelled howitzer.

Production of this vehicle began in 1962 as the successor to the M44 self-propelled howitzer, and the cumulative production of the series is said to total approximately 10,000 vehicles.

The M109 Rochev was a version deployed by the Israel Defense Forces in the 1970s. The vehicle initially deployed was equipped with a short-barreled M126 155mm howitzer, but was later extended to a long-barreled version.

In addition, luggage racks were added to the front of the turret and around the body of the vehicle, increasing the number of ammunitions that could be carried.

The M109 Doha was deployed in the 1990s with unique improvements made by the Israel Defense Forces, including a new version of the Rochev’s commander’s cupola, inertial navigation equipment, and enhanced NBC protection.
