The M48 was developed in the United States, and is a post-WWII first-generation main battle tank, nicknamed “Patton.” The M48A3 is an improved version, with the M48A1 engine replaced with a diesel and equipped with a new fire control device. The M48A5 is the final model of the series that replaces the existing M48A1-A3 main gun with a 53-caliber 105mm tank gun M68, changes the coaxial machine gun to the M60E2, and replaces the power pack with the same one used by the M60.
This model kit from Takom features main hatches that can be built opened or closed; the suspension and rolling wheels are movable, and the tracks are connected and movable too. Photo-etched parts and decals for four versions are included. Order yours today!
