During WWII, the German rail system was essential to transporting vehicles, equipment and personnel. One of the famous SSy variants of the heavy flatcars manufactured in Koln played an important role in transporting medium and heavy combat vehicles, such as Panthers. Until the end of 1942, the Deutsche Reichsbahn has transported more than 100,000 rail wagons used throughout Europe for the German Wehrmacht.

This 1/35-scale plastic model kit of the Schwerer Plattformwagen SSys is the famous German railway transport vehicle from WWII. It has not only the unique accurately reproduced outline, but also provides cabin bogie details. All wheels can be built in movable position. Two transport statuses are provided for assembly. This kit contains parts to construct one railway wagon.

Will be approximately 30.9cm long and 9cm wide when completed.
