Description

This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.

The VB2L is a vehicle with an extended body developed by the French company Panhard, based on the VBL armored vehicle (Vehicle Blinde Leger = light armored vehicle). This extension of the hull made the fighting compartment larger, and provided room for a fourth crew member or additional armament.

This model kit from Ace is equipped with Mistral anti-aircraft missiles. Two of the missiles are in the twin launcher “Albi” on the upper part of the hull; four spare missiles can be stored in the fighting compartment. This model kit includes soft resin tires, photo-etched parts, and decals for three versions: Omani Army, Botswana Army, and a vehicle exhibited at the 2002 Eurosatory International Defense and Security Exhibition.
