This is a track kit for detailing tanks or other armored vehicles.

Another set of excellent workable individual-link tracks from Modelkasten. This set is for the WWII Japanese Type 89 medium tank. Assembly consists of cementing each highly detailed two-piece (upper and lower halves) link together and then snapping the next link in. A little time-consuming, but the results will be well worth it, as the tracks will realistically sag just like the real things. The set also includes a gazillion Type 89 road wheels, which the instructions advise to be used “when you scratchbuild a tank.” Pretty good advice, considering there is no mainstream injection-molded Type 89 kit on the market…yet! But if you have one of the discontinued Gum Ka resin Type 89 kits (see below), then these tracks are for you!
