1/72 Scammell Pioneer Tank Transporter with TRCU30 Tank Trailer and Crusader Mk.I/II Tank

Description

This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.

Ideal for *North African warfare!

This is a 6×4 tractor developed by the British company Scammell in 1927.

Although not a 6×6 tractor, it was adopted by the military because of its high capacity for towing unauthorized ground.

Because of its high performance, an artillery towing type, a tank transporting type, and a recovery type were developed and produced throughout the war.

The tank-transporting type had an extended cab for the tractor section and a space in the rear for tank soldiers to board.

Trailers of 20-ton and 30-ton types were produced.

However, it was difficult to separate the tractor from the trailer, and the trailer’s high height was also said to be a drawback.

However, nearly 500 of these vehicles were produced throughout the war, and they were used to transport tanks for the British Army.

After the war, they were sold to the private sector and operated for a long time.

The Crusader is a compartible of Mk.I and Mk.II.
