The M4 began in August 1942 in Great Britain. All the American tanks had received English radio stations, boxes for the ZIP and equipment. The tank M4A4 with an English MkIV 17-pound gun was named the Sherman VC by the English army. The ammunition supply consisted of 77 rounds, and the crew was 4 members. Up to the end of 1944, 1,794 M4 tanks of different versions had been converted.
