This is a plastic military vehicle model.

This series is Tamiya’ s answer to the recent trends in the market toward finished models. Basically, these tank models are made from the plastic parts which made up Tamiya’s original MM series kit. Not only did they use these parts, Tamiya added some special features to the model. Lathed aluminum barrel and metal cast tracks and photo-etched mesh parts for engine grilles enhance the authenticity and reality of the finished models. Painting and markings are beautifully done, of course; a light weathering finish is also applied to the models. Series #1 represents the German Tiger I early production model belonging to Army 503 Hvy. Tk. Btn., which fought in Russia.
