The U.S. Army’s current armored vehicle, the Stryker, is the third entry in Dragon’s new model series! The Stryker was based on the Piranha III from Switzerland, and is equipped with eight-wheel independent suspension; it can be switched between 8-wheel drive and 4-wheel drive. Its diesel engine generates up to 350 horsepower, and it can reach speeds of 100km/h on level ground, and up to 60km/h over rough terrain. A number of different types have been developed, including this M1134 Stryker ATGM equipped with a TOW anti-tank guided missile. It has two launchers, and the missile has a maximum range of 4.5km.

This pre-painted, assembled model is packed with all the detail that we’ve come to expect from Dragon, down to the suspension under the chassis. The wheels are made from DS material that accurately reproduces their texture, and the tire tread pattern is also painstakingly detailed. The upper hull is delicately reproduced, from the hatch details to the bolts. The TOW2 missile system mounted on the upper hull can be rotated.
