Having a difficult time with Dutch soldiers in Rotterdam during the war, the Germans began to bomb the city in order to push for a surrender. On May 17, 1940, the Dutch troops surrendered before the city took significant damage. Much to the surprise of the German commander, there were far Dutch fewer soldiers than expected during the surrender. The commander called the few, tough soldiers in dark blue uniforms with which the Germans had struggled, “De Zwarte Duivels” (Black Devils).
This kit builds one of De Zwarte Duivels in a hunched position. Contains unpainted resin parts.
